1. What the service does

WG Rooms in Germany is an independent search and alert service for shared-flat (WG) room listings. We collect posts from selected public Telegram channels and Facebook groups, extract key details, remove duplicates, and link back to the original post.

We are not a landlord, estate agent, broker, or party to any rental agreement. We do not own or manage the rooms shown on the site, verify the identity of listers, handle payments, or charge introduction or agency fees.

2. Listings and source content

Listing details are generated from third-party posts and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Automated extraction can make mistakes, and a room may already be unavailable. Always check the original post and confirm important details directly with the lister before making a decision.

The original source post remains the authoritative version. We may correct, unpublish, or remove an indexed listing at any time, including when the source disappears or the listing reaches its expected expiry date.

3. Accounts and alerts

You may browse public listings without an account. Google sign-in may be required for features intended to reduce misuse. If you sign in, you are responsible for activity through your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure.

Email alerts are provided on a best-effort basis. Delivery time and availability are not guaranteed. You can stop alerts at any time through the unsubscribe link included in each email.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service for fraud, harassment, discrimination, or any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to bypass access controls or interfere with the service or its infrastructure;
• use automated access that places an unreasonable load on the service;
• republish the site or its database as your own competing service; or
• misrepresent an affiliation with WG Rooms in Germany.

We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.

5. Safety

Room-search scams are common. Do not transfer money or share sensitive documents before verifying the room and the person offering it. Where possible, view the room, use a written agreement, and confirm who is legally entitled to rent it out. You are responsible for evaluating a listing and any transaction you choose to enter into.

6. Intellectual property

Third-party listing content belongs to its respective author or platform. The WG Rooms in Germany name, site design, software, and original editorial content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Linking to the site and ordinary personal use are welcome.

7. Third-party services

The site links to services we do not control, including Telegram, Facebook, and Google. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or conduct.

8. Availability and liability

The service is provided as available and may change, pause, or end without notice. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or housing advice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, successful delivery of an alert, the accuracy of a listing, or the outcome of contact with a lister.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or a transaction with a third party.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from that point onward.
